As I read Dr. Bill Basansky’s article it ministered to my heart and encouraged me beyond compare so I have put it here for you to read today so you can be encouraged as well.

Dear Friend:
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren (Luke 22:31-32, KJV).

Every time that you dare to believe God for ANYTHING, your faith will be put on trial and tested. Satan believes that if enough pressure is applied on you, then you will get discouraged and quit. He will tempt you and try to lure you into sin.

If you have ever quit in the past, then Satan is counting on you to quit again. He will constantly remind you of your past mistakes and failures. He is a master when it comes to temptation and mind manipulation.

Satan does not believe that you will stand strong, believe God’s Word and continue to trust God when everything around you indicates that your situation will never change.

One of the keys to making a strong stand against the devil is understanding that TESTS AND TRIALS DO NOT LAST FOREVER. They are temporary and subject to change (2 Corinthians 4:18).

When you know that trials are subject to change, then you can endure because God’s Word never changes.

1 Peter 1:6-7 tells us that …the trial of your faith being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire.

Hebrews 10:35 says Cast not away therefore your confidence which has great recompence of reward.

Hebrews 10:23 …Let us hold fast the profession – confession – of faith without wavering for he is faithful that promised.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13, KJV).

The word temptation refers to any outside source that appeals to a weakness in your flesh and entices the flesh to take a closer look. If you don’t stop this thought process, it will set its hook in your soul and pull you right into the middle of some kind of sin.

But this verse promises that God will make a way for you to escape temptation IF you really want to escape it. The word escape means to walk out of a difficult place, to walk out of a trap, or to walk out of a place that is not good for you.

This reminds me of the time when Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife when she tried to seduce him (Genesis 39:12). In other words, Joseph did not stay in a bad situation and try to negotiate. He fled from there as quickly as he could!

Negotiation with sin usually leads to falling into it rather than conquering it.

This is why Paul was constantly telling the early believers to FLEE evil influences (1 Corinthians 6:18, 1 Corinthians 10:14, 1 Timothy 6:11, 2 Timothy 2:22).

You don’t have to be stuck in those temptations that surround you. You can walk out of those temptations just as easily as you walked into them. God has made a way for you to escape, but you are the only one who can make the choice to jump through the escape hatch!

So today the Lord is asking you: Are you going to stay the way you are right now? Or are you willing to take the proper steps to escape from the emotional temptation and demonic trap? The choice is yours to make. You are the only one who can chose to walk of those temptations or negative situations.

The moment you make that decision, your journey of freedom has begun and the Lord will lead you to victory.

Standing with you in faith,
Dr. Bill Basansky

This is a presentation I gave at a local Mother-Daughter Tea the first of the month that I thought would be an encouragement to those who read it. Be blessed as you read.

As I spent time with the Holy Spirit preparing for today, I asked Him specifically what He wanted to say to you today.

- He said you are special to Him just because of who you are!

- He is so in love with you. When He looks at you, He doesn’t see your shortcomings and failures, your disappointments, your youth or your maturity. He sees you as a perfect, righteous person – a person in right standing with Him. There’s nothing you can do to make Him love you any less today than what He loved you yesterday, or to make Him love you more tomorrow.

- He has a great purpose for your life, a great plan that you may not see through the piles of dirty laundry, dishes and diapers. You may not have time to see His plan through all the traffic and fast food wrappers as you take your children to and from soccer and baseball practice and games. You may think you’re too mature and that you’re done with your assignments, but there are still things He has for you to do – lives you need to touch.

- You may have lost a husband recently, a parent, or a child. God loves you, He knows your pain and He will bring restoration to your life. Restoration is part of our covenant with Jesus Christ. Sorrow may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning! It’s okay to grieve, but there comes a time to move on with your life. If that’s you, let God restore you today! Decide today to receive His restoration.

- He wants you to know things in your life are going to get better!

- He wants me to remind you that the joy of the Lord is your strength! He wants to refresh you, restore you and prepare you today.

To bring change, refreshing and restoration, you need to change your words and your focus. Our words have power and we create our future with them so let’s put some creative power to work. 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “I believe so I speak.” Revelations 12:11 says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”Say this aloud: I’m not just a conqueror – God made me more than a conqueror. (Romans 8:37) I was created to win and I always win! (2

Corinthians 2:14 & 1 Corinthians 15:57) If I’m not winning – it’s not over!! I’m victorious because I see myself victorious! That will stir you up! Hallelujah!!

The Word says you’re victorious whether you feel like it or not – How many of you know we don’t go by our feelings? If you’re feeling sorry for yourself today, it’s time to stop! We act like the Word of God is true! We tell our feelings and our bodies to line up with the Word of God. According to Galatians 3:13, we’ve been redeemed from the curse of sickness and disease; poverty and lack.

Say this: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven”… On earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10 says I can have days of heaven on earth! There’s no sickness in heaven, so I don’t have sickness in my body no matter what age I am. There’s no lack in heaven, so I don’t have to have it in my life. There’s no depression in heaven, so I don’t have to have depression in my life! No more down days! I am full of joy – I am full of peace! My life is getting better every day, in every way! (Jeremiah 30:18-20) I have restoration in every area of my life because it’s part of my covenant with Jesus! Amen!

A setback is a stepping stone to greatness if you’ll allow God to mold and shape you. God is not your problem; He’s on your side; He’s for you and not against you. He wants you to win! (1 & 2 Corinthians – John 10:10)
I like what Jerry Savelle says, “We’re called to battle, but we’re destined to win! Jesus has already won the battle for us.” Don’t let the little things in life irritate you. If you’re letting things get to you, it’s time to change your focus.

What are you focusing on these days? Finances, the economy, some of you are thinking about your children right now who are at home with your husband or the baby sitter. Thank God for our husbands…I believe there is a special grace available to them right now as they are taking care of children and things at home. Thank you, God, for special grace, peace and joy over our homes right now. On a side note as we’re talking about husbands; ladies, on their best day, they’re just a man. I’d like to encourage you to decide every morning when you wake up that you’re going to make allowances for your husband – give him grace and mercy before hand, because he’s going to mess up. As you sow grace and mercy into him, you’ll reap grace and mercy, because even on your best day, you’re just a woman.

Back to the things you’re focusing on. Are you letting the irritations in your life make you bitter or beautiful? A pearl starts as a grain of sand, an irritant in an oyster. Layer by layer, a pearl is made into something beautiful. Are the irritating circumstances and situations in your life causing you to draw up next to God and fellowship with the Holy Spirit causing layers of His beauty to shine through you? Or are they pulling you away from God?
His beauty includes gentleness, kindness, peace, and joy. It’s up to you, what example are you giving your children? What legacy will you leave them? A legacy of defeat or victory? A legacy of giving up when things get tough or over-coming obstacles? A legacy of quitting or conquering? A legacy of doubt, fear, unbelief and worry. Or a legacy of faith?

Children are our heritage and if you’re like me, you want to leave them a legacy of faith, knowing how to overcome every obstacle in their life so they can live a victorious life. 1 John 5:4-5 in the Amplified says, “For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?”

You may have older children who are not where you know they’re supposed to be. Send the Holy Spirit out to arrest them, minister life to them and bring them back into the body of Christ where they belong because God has need of them. They have gifts the body needs. Your children are your seed and God has promised you your seed. (John 4:53)

I’m going to ask you again - What are you focusing on? What are you recognizing in your life? Whatever it is, you’re empowering it in your life. Today is the day to settle in you mind that the price Jesus paid was enough for you to get your healing, your restoration, your prosperity, your joy, your deliverance, your peace – whatever it is you need. Everything you need is already on the inside of you because the fullness of the God-head bodily lives on the inside of you. You can pray in the Holy Ghost and not only build yourself up in your most holy faith as Jude 20-21 tells us to do, but you can pray out divine mysteries for your life, and the answers you need. Praying in the Spirit is walking in God’s power.

My goal is to add value to your life today and to leave you better just by being with you today. So I would ask you to bow your head and close your eyes. We’re going to allow the Holy Ghost to minister life to you and refresh you. Some of you are on top of the world while others are just tired and weary today. You’ve poured out and poured out, and you need to be re-filled and re-freshed. Some of you are weighed down with the cares of this world. You’re at a place in your life and you really don’t know how you got there.

Let’s take care of business. You don’t want to leave here the same way you came. You want to be better. You may be in disobedience to something God’s asked you to do and you haven’t done it; or He may have asked you to stop doing something and you’re still doing it. It may be anger, resentment, offense, bitterness, un-forgiveness. Whatever it is, it’s between you and God. Not you and me, or you and your neighbor.

Right now, just ask God to forgive you, repent, do an about face and get back on track today. He loves you so much and He delights in helping you. Let Him begin to fill you a fresh today. Holy Spirit we welcome you today, Sir. I ask you to fill us, pour out your rain – the former and later rains, Lord. Sir, we ask for a fresh anointing, a fresh fire, a fresh vision.

As you yield, He’ll fill you with His joy, His strength. You need to laugh today. Stir it up! Ha ha ha!

By Danny Claborn

John 10:10 says, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” It has been said that John 10:10 is the dividing line of the Bible. If it came to steal, kill or destroy, it did not come from Jesus. We must decide if we are going to let Satan steal, kill and destroy our lives, or if we are going to live a rich and satisfying life that has already been provided for us by Jesus Christ.

1. Does It Steal possessions from us?
Whatever situation comes upon us, if it steals from us, causes us to lack for anything, if it takes away from us, it is of the devil. If it causes us to lose money or something of value, it comes from the devil. Sometimes, we get ourselves into situations where we lose money or get into debt because we have made bad decisions. Before we make major decisions, we should seek Godly counsel in areas that we lack wisdom. In this case, we cannot blame the devil, but we can ask God for forgiveness, wisdom, and help us with a strategy to get out of that situation. We must seek God’s word and His wisdom.

Satan can steal more than just our possessions. He can steal our joy, our peace, our happiness. He puts small thoughts into our mind, telling us that a friend is making fun of us, that no one likes us, no one finds us attractive, our friends think they are better than us. In Deuteronomy 28, God describes blessings and curses that we can live with or without. We have been redeemed from the curses of sickness and disease, lack – being without, scarceness – limited supply, or living with no room for emergencies in our lives, unfulfilled desires – the inability to live beyond the need state. Satan will also rob us of our dreams and our destiny. As a child, we all dream of what we want to be when we grow up. How many of us actually achieve that dream. As we meet our significant other in our lives, we dream together, we tell her about all the luxuries we want her to have, of the grand home we will have, of the automobiles we want her to have. We dream together, as we begin our married lives, we want all of these items, NOW. The only way to achieve most of them now is to go in debt. Ah! A ploy of the Devil! Debt is not bad, if we can pay it back each month, but most of us get in debt over our heads and cannot pay it back, only paying interest each month, thus getting further and further behind. As we wrestle with paying off this debt, we lose track of those dreams and even forget to pursue them. If we could learn to pay cash for everything, maybe only borrow for our home, we would be so much better off without the stress or worry of these debts and all the consequences that come with it.

2. Does It Steal the word from us?
Satan will also also try to steal the word from us. Psalm 12:6 says, “The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over.” We must guard the words of the Lord with our heart. Psalm 119:16 says, “I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.” We must study God’s word, instill it into our hearts, so that Satan cannot steal it from us. Matt 13:18 and 19 states, “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.” Many people hear the word in one ear and let it escape out the other. Jewish teachers exhorted students to listen and memorize the teachings, yet many who listened to Jesus would forget the message. Jesus says this neglect is the devils work. Today, people hear the gospel every week in church, but yet, some do not know how to be saved, how to grow to maturity. Just hearing the word does not make us understand it. We must study the word to show ourselves approved. We must put the word to work in our lives, so that when we speak or do something, the word of God is what comes out. We must have the expectations that everything we say or do will give God “glory and honor”.

3. Did it Kill anything in our lives?
Satan also came to kill and destroy. He brings sickness upon us, he brings stress upon us which leads to sickness and disease. Sickness came into the world through Adam’s sin. Sickness is not from God. As a result of Adam’s sin, the curse of sickness came upon the earth. Before Adam’s sin, there was no sickness upon the earth. With the fall of man, curse came upon the earth, bringing sickness, accidents, and storms. I read in the newspaper, everyday, obituaries of people that have passed away at much too young of an age. You see people ages 30 to 80 dying of cancer, heart attacks, kidney problems. We must wake up and realize that God said He would give us the desires of our heart. Psalm 37:3-5 (New International Version), “Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this.” It is not my desire to die at such a young age. My desire is to live to be 120 years old and to die peacefully in my sleep, unless Jesus comes before. I am not quite to my mid-life yet. Most people blame God when their relatives pass away at a young age. In Deuteronomy 34:7, “Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone.” By obeying God’s commandments, He will give us the desires of our hearts. God is not a respecter of persons.

4. Have you been Deceived?
Satan deceives people, by leading them into pleasurable acts such as smoking, drinking, drugs, over eating, cocaine, pot. These acts lead to other sin as well. The consequences of sin is sickness and death. He makes people believe that these acts are good, takes away stress. These events are Satan’s way of taking their lives. These pleasurable acts are dangerous to our bodies, they harm our bodies long before we know it. He also deceives us by telling us it is okay not to read or study the word, today. What is one day going to hurt, then another day, then another. It is so easy to miss reading the word, get so busy doing everyday things with work, worldly day to day events that all of sudden, it has been a week since we last read the word of God. We need to get the word everyday by reading our Bible, listening to a CD, i-pod, and also by reading articles and books from true word teachers. We can hear the word on line now from Genesis to Revelation. We need to get understanding and wisdom out of the word so that we can overcome any obstacle in our lives. Satan uses every evil thing or tool he has against every person. The exact things John 10:10 states… Satan is doing today.

In the world, thieves mostly work at night, when it is dark. The daylight would show them up, uncover their activity. Ephesians 6:12 says, “ For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” We do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers of the darkness of this age. If this was physical battles, we would bring real physical weapons, but they are to no avail in these spiritual battles. I Cor 4:5 says, “that the Lord will bring the hidden things of the dark to light.” We must learn who the enemy is, how to fight him and win the battle, and we must realize that the enemy was defeated on the cross.

Jesus came, that we might have and enjoy life to the fullest, till it overflows. God wants us to enjoy life, live, and have abundance. Websters dictionary describes abundance as 1. “An ample quantity,” 2. Profusion which means “lavish expenditure.” The American Heritage dictionary describes abundance as “fullness to overflowing.”

How many Christians are living life with an ample quantity of everything they need? How many are living in lavish expenditures? How many of us are living life to the fullness and overflowing. Most Christians I know are living on “Barely Get Along Street.” We as Christians have to learn to live life as God told us to. We have to get our mindset changed from living a life much lower than God expects us to live.

We live way too low by God’s standards. As born again Christians, we should never feel lower class than anyone else. When we were born again, we became Kings and Priests. We should walk into a room with a swagger – like “Do you know who my Daddy is?” Ephesians 1:6 says, “What pleasure he took in planning this!” He wants us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son. We should walk into a room with our heads held high with a confidence of knowing that Satan is defeated, that he is under our feet, that we are the head and not the tail. We should have favor with our friends and strangers because that’s what the word says.

In Genesis 15:18, God made covenant with Abraham. “On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.” Abraham did not have to work to earn the land. He inherited it. The same is with us. We do not have to earn our inheritance, we only have to accept Christ as our Savior and believe His promises.

We must trust God, listen to Him, believe, and speak that God is our covenant, our great reward. Psalms 56 states that “David seeks God’s mercy. David tells God that he puts his trust in Him. He will not fear or be afraid.” We must decide if we will trust God, or fear the circumstances that Satan tries to put upon us. In Psalm 56:9 David says, “Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me. We must do the same as David, trust God, believe Him, speak His word over our lives, praise Him, not be afraid to stand up to Satan.”

Anyone sharing the good news of the gospel is a threat to Satan. He will try to get you into a situation that is dangerous to you. We must be aware of his tactics, we must stay in the word, keep it dear to our hearts, so that we will know what is a ploy of the devil. We must keep in the forefront who our God really is. We must remember that our God is El Shaddai, my God of more than enough. He is God that loads us daily with benefits. We cannot lower who God is! We must determine that we are going to be the Christian that God intends for us to be. In Deuteronomy 28:1–14, God describes the blessings for our lives. We must determine that we are going to live in those blessings. He tells us that we will be blessed in the city and in the country, that we will be blessed with children, crops, and livestock. All of us may not be farmers, but we do have businesses or work for one. God tells us that He will bless our barns and everything we put our hands to. He will bless our bank accounts. That He will grant you abundant prosperity, that you will lend to many nations and not borrow. That does not sound like lack to me. He will make you the head and not the tail. If we pay attention to His commands, we will always be on top and never on the bottom.

Satan will cause us to scale back our dreams, our expectations for our lives and for our ministries. We must decide to trust God. We must raise our expectation level, we must enlarge our dreams. As David said in Psalms 56, his difficulties were too hard for him, BUT, he decided to make God’s promises the matter of his praises. So Should WE! We should remember God’s promises. Most Christians do not even know what God’s promises are. Learn these promises. Meditate on them, rejoice in them. They are ours. Then, we must direct our praises to God for His promises to us. Decide that with everything within us, we will achieve all that God has for us. Why wait until we get to heaven to see what we could have had on earth!

Decide today that YOU will quit being the tail, start being the head and then dominate your situations. Remind Satan that he is under your feet like God told you to, and start living the good, abundant life, you are meant to live.

Are you ever tempted to give up in the heat of battle? Sure, you are! We (including me) have all wanted to quit at some point in time because life’s situations just got too hard, we could see no way out, no help on the horizon, and thought it better to find a cypress tree and have a pity party for ourselves.

However, you need to know that God didn’t draw you to Himself and anoint you with the power of the Holy Spirit to be a quitter! He made you to be a winner, more than an over-comer, in every area of your life.

You may have never been told that before, so I get the wonderful pleasure of telling you now: God created you to triumph! In the Amplified Bible we read in 2 Corinthians 2:14a. “But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory].” And in the Message Bible it reads, “In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade…”

No matter what life’s situation is that you’re facing and need to conquer, you must make a decision that you are never going to give in or give up! This is exactly what the devil wants you to do: give up and quit! Don’t give him the satisfaction of beating you! One key to victory is continuing to do the right thing with the right attitude and refusing to quit.

When we become a born again Christian, God gives us the authority to whip the devil every time! Ephesians 1:19 tells us about this power, “and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might.”

I would like to encourage you to not let the pain of the past keep you from enjoying your today. Your dreams of the future have no place for the failures of the past. Be determined to put the past behind you, as you can not change one thing back there. Press on into your future. the new beginning God has planned for you. Although right now is not the first of the year when we would normally be making all of our new goals and commitments, today is the first day of the rest of your life. No one else can be determined for you, so you must continually remind yourself to let go of the past and go on into the new things of your future.

I love the following quote by Winston Churchill and keep it on my refrigerator to remind me how good my future is going to be. “I have no fear of the future. Let us go forward into its mysteries, let us tear aside the veils which hide it from our eyes and let us move onward with confidence and courage.”

When you decide to turn your back on the devil and humble yourself before the Lord, He will lift you up and make your life valuable, wonderful and worth living each and every day.

When you are discouraged and about to give up, God wants you to know that He’s there to help you. “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.” Galatians 6:9

Remember that it’s not how you start life’s journey that’s important, it’s how you finish. You have not failed until you stop trying, so don’t give up and give in to the enemy’s plan for your life. God created you to triumph in all things.

One of my favorite Bible verses is Romans 4:17, “As it is written, I have made (as it is written, “A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS HAVE I MADE YOU”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.”

For years, I’ve taken God’s Word and personalized it with my name as well as my husband’s and children’s names and spoke it forth with authority calling those things which weren’t as though they are only to watch situations line up with God’s plan for our life! When we learn who we are in Christ, and the awesome power our words have, we can easily change our negative words to positive, faith-filled confessions and change our world to have heaven on earth.

If you were like me when I began my journey with Jesus, I didn’t know who I was in Christ or even what that statement meant! Today I have a better understanding of who I am in Christ, so here are some Bible verses that I have learned to stand on to help me believe who I am in Christ. I simply insert my name or my children’s names and say, “I’m (or my children’s names) is/has (then confess the following):

Above and not beneath. (Deuteronomy 28:13)
Apple of God’s eye. (Deuteronomy 32:10)
Abundantly provided for. (Ephesians 3:20)
Abundant life. (John 10:10)
Abounding in all things. (2 Peter 1:3)
Accepted in the beloved. (Ephesians 1:6)
Anointed. (Isaiah 61:1)
Access to God. (Romans 5:2)
Authority. (Luke 10:19)
Abounds in faith. (Colossians 2:7)

Jesus said, “It’s the thought-life that pollutes. From within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts of lust, theft, murder, adultery, wanting what belongs to others, [covetousness], wickedness, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, pride, and all other folly. All these vile things come from within; they are what pollute [people] and make [them] unfit for God.” (Mark 7:20-23, TLB).

The secular world as it is today was re-created by men whose hearts were apart from the Spirit of God. These men were subject to satanic influence, so when they spoke what was in their hearts, Satan’s influence permeated the world. What we see around us isn’t what God created it to be, but rather, the result of man’s influence by the words he speaks. The words we speak come from our heart. Whatever is in a person’s heart, whatever is in their thought-life, will come out in words. No wonder God says in Matthew 12:36 that “He will call every person to account for every idle word spoken.”

When the Spirit of Christ is in us, God gives us His thought life through His Word. Reading God’s Word isn’t a contest for time or length. It’s taking in the very life of God through His Word. God gives us the mind of Christ in and through the Word of God.

As we begin to think God’s thoughts, we’ll begin to speak God’s words. As we speak God’s words, our world is re-created. The ingredients of heaven are love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance or self-control. As you know, these are the Fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23. These fruit within us come out through our words and are reflected in our world. Because of the indwelling of the Spirit of God, the kingdom of God is within us, and the very Word of God becomes our thought life. The Spirit of God becomes the anointing, the life of God within us.

When we stand strong in faith for thirty days, and then step out of faith, that one lapse could nullify thirty days of believing God. The devil knows that, so he is constantly trying to get you out of faith.

When we’re standing in faith for something we want, we can’t afford to think negative thoughts. We must always anticipate that God will take care of us. If we want our faith in God and His Word to work, we can’t allow the pressures of the world that constantly bombard our ears, eyes, and mind to affect us.

What we believe is a result of our thinking. If we’re thinking wrong thoughts, we’ll be believing wrong which leads to wrong confessions. We won’t be able to make the right confession until our thinking is right and in line with the Word of God since we can’t believe beyond our actual knowledge base of the Bible.

In 2 Corinthians 2:16 we’re told to have the mind of Christ, and the only way to do this is by studying God’s Word, believing it in our heart, and acting on it.

The Word also teaches us in Philippians 4:8, to think on whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, or whatever has virtue or praise. We need to realize that thoughts can come into our minds from two different sources. The devil puts many thoughts into our minds from outside ourselves; however God’s thoughts come from inside ourselves — from our spirit man into our minds.

As you stay in close fellowship with the Lord through prayer, meditation, and study of His Word, you will learn to distinguish the source of your thoughts. Of course, evil thoughts are form the devil. On the other hand, God is love, and love thinks no evil, and sees no evil.

Many times scriptures referring to the mind confuses people; however in scriptures referring to believing, many think they believe, and they do with their minds, but not in their hearts. We must focus on the positive confessions instead of the negative confessions. When we get a clear understanding of the power of positive confession, it will make a great improvement in our lives and in our thinking.

Hebrews 3:1 says that we should consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession or confession. The dictionary defines confession as “affirming something we believe; testifying to something we know; and witnessing to a truth that we have embraced.”

It’s important we do what Hebrews 4:14 tells us to do “Hold fast our profession [confession] of faith. It’s necessary that we have a continual confession of redemption from Satan’s dominion and a confession of the fact that he no longer rules us with condemnation, fear, or disease. We are to hold fast to our confession because our confession is Satan’s defeat. Jesus defeated Satan nearly 2000 years ago, but what Jesus did for us legally must become a vital, living reality in our lives.

Let me give you an example of the legal side of redemption. People pray God, save this man or heal this woman. However, in God’s mind, He’s already saved and healed them. God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself; therefore, Jesus doesn’t have to die again to save anyone. He already died once, and He doesn’t need to shed His blood again. Legally, God has already done everything He needs to do to provide our redemption!

If people deal exclusively with the legal side of redemption, they won’t actually experience the power of God in their lives because they become cold, dead and formal. Under the New Covenant, we have much more than just the forgiveness of sin; we have the New Birth and have become new creatures in Christ Jesus. If we sin after we’re born again, we don’t have to be born again to be forgiven because 1 John 1:9 says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.”

As we confess our sins this thinking is in line with God’s Word, and believing what the Bible says. Confession creates a reality of salvation in our spirit.

Think back to the way you were presented the Gospel message of salvation. If your thinking was straightened out from the beginning, and your believing and confessing were made right, it will be much easier for you to stand strong and not waver in your Christian walk. However, if you weren’t given sufficient instructions, the devil will take advantage of what you don’t know. He’ll defeat and rob you of what God has already done for you because you don’t know God’s Word, and you don’t know how to hold fast to your confession of faith. The devil will camouflage situations and try to make you feel that you’re not saved when you make small mistakes.

The same is true with healing. Remember that our confession is Satan’s defeat. Hebrews 4:14 says, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Jesus is our great High Priest who is seated in heaven and is representing us to Father God saying “I died for them. I took their sins, I redeemed them. I became sin for their sin that they may become the righteousness of God in Me. I took their infirmities, bore their sicknesses. I delivered them from the authority of darkness. I created them as new creatures.”

In the Greek translation of this verse it says “Let us hold fast to saying the same thing.” Our confession will either imprison us or set us free and is the result of our right or wrong thinking.

We must know what God has done for us in Jesus, believe it and confess it because our confession is what creates the reality in our lives. We must know what God has done in us though the Word and the Holy Spirit. We must know what Jesus is doing for us now in His present day ministry at the right hand of Father God, plus we need to know what the Word of God will do for us through our lips or what God can do through us by the help of the Holy Spirit.

When our thinking is not right in line with God’s Word, our believing will be wrong. Then our talking will be wrong and we’ll be confused and defeated. We need to realize what the Word can do through our lips. It’s not only what we know personally about Jesus that counts; it’s what the Word says you already are “in Christ” that counts.

Have you read something in the Bible and know what it says is true concerning Christians, but the promise doesn’t seem real to you? It may be healing, prosperity, or revelation knowledge. Have you ever acted as if it were real? Have you ever told someone that it’s real? Have you ever confessed it to be real in your life? If you’ve answered no to any one of these questions, do you think the Bible has lied?

If you want the promise to become a reality in your life, you must confess it into reality before it becomes manifested in your life. According to the Word, it is already so, but make it real in your life by confessing whatever promise you want manifested in your life. When you confess what you are in Christ, claim it, and walk in it, you are appropriating the reality of what is legally yours.

We should all be God minded and the only way we can achieve this is to think God’s thoughts, think His Word, and confess that it’s true by putting it in your mouth on a daily basis.

The translators of the King James Version translated many words consistently; however, they didn’t do this with the Greek words for “power” and “authority.”

Just one example of this is in Luke 10:19, “Behold I give unto you POWER to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the POWER of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

In this verse, “power” is used twice; two different words are found in the original Greek. What Jesus actually said was, “I have given you AUTHORITY to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the POWER of the enemy.”

When Jesus is speaking about “serpents and scorpions,” He’s talking about the power of the devil and evil spirits. We need to realize we have authority over all of them! As believers who completely understand the power of God is backing us up, we can exercise our authority and face the enemy fearlessly. Now you may be asking yourself “what is authority.” Authority is delegated power.

Let me give you an example of delegated power. We have construction workers building a major road in our city. This past week I saw a policeman standing in the middle of the road stopping traffic with his hands. This man didn’t have the physical power to stop vehicles if the drivers chose not to stop; however, he wasn’t using his own strength to stop them. He’s exercising the authority invested in him by the city government that he’s serving. People recognize that authority and stop their cars.

By that same example, there’s authority vested in us by Jesus when we are born again! That’s why I wanted to make sure all of us are born-again believers listening today. In Ephesians 6:10, Paul told the church “to be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” That means you can step out in front of the devil, hold up your hand, use your God given authority, and tell him not to come any closer!

Another example I like to use of exercising our authority is when a dog comes on your property and you don’t want him to be there, what do you do? You stomp your foot and yell, “Get!” What does the dog do? If you say it like you mean it, the dog is going to run away. This is what we have to do with the devil! Rise up and exercise your authority by saying, “Get! Get your hands off my stuff!

How many of you are facing uncertain situations in your life? Maybe it’s cancer, (that’s always a scary word), tumors, high blood pressure, depression, financial strain, marriage challenges — “you fill in the blank with the symptoms coming against you or your family.” I’m sure you’ve prayed and asked Jesus to heal you, and you believe He’ll do it, and you’ve stood your ground, only to still have symptoms your body or life.

Before I share a dream with you that Brother Kenneth Hagin had that will help you get victory over your symptoms, I want you to know that if you have a dream and you don’t know the meaning of it immediately, forget it. If you wake up and know what it means, God is speaking to you through your dreams as He talked about in Joel 2:28.

Brother Hagin had been challenged with physical symptoms that he’d prayed and ask God to heal him of, and then he stood his ground. In the dream Brother Hagin had, he and another preacher were walking on something similar to a big parade field with stands on both sides of them.  As they were walking along talking, the man jumped and shouted, “Look!” Brother Hagin turned and saw two ferocious, roaring lions. The man with Brother Hagin started running and then he started running. Brother Hagin stopped and told the man they were too far away from the stands to reach safety. There was no way for them to escape the lions. Brother Hagin stopped dead still, turned around, and went back to meet the lions. They came toward him with their fangs bared, roaring. He was trembling where he stood as he told them “I resist you in the Name of Jesus. In Jesus’ Name you can’t hurt me!” He just stood there. They ran right up to him like a couple of kittens, sniffed around his ankles, and finally frolicked off, paying no attention to him.

The physical battle Brother Hagin had been fighting for six weeks was won at the moment he turned and faced the lions head on, because he had stood his ground and didn’t give in to the symptoms. He said instantly the symptoms disappeared and he was all right. As a side note, remember that the devil’s weakest moment is when you turn to face him.

The Bible explains this very situation in 1 Peter 5:8-9 in the Message, which says “Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up, keep a firm grip on the faith.”

Ephesians 6:10 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Many people read this verse and think the Lord is telling them to be strong in themselves, but the Scripture doesn’t say a word about being strong in yourself. It says to be strong in the Lord.

How many times have you heard people say, “I can’t take it any more, I don’t care if I can make it or not? I’m here to tell you, you can make it! Don’t even think about not making it! Be strong in the Lord. Be strong in the power of His might, not your own power or might.

First John 4:4 says, “My dear children, you come from God and belong to God. You have already won a big victory over those false teachers, for the Spirit in you is far stronger than anything in the world.”

The power that’s in you is greater than the power that’s in the world, because the power that backs your authority is greater than that which backs your enemy’s authority.

The Holy Spirit wants us to know that the power on earth invested in the Name of Jesus Christ and obtained by Him through His overcoming the enemy belongs to the church. Exercise that authority, because it belongs to you, and in this life we shall reign by Christ Jesus.

We all have a specific purpose for our lives. God wants us to be a representative of Jesus in the world, bearing witness that he is alive in us. How well we represent Jesus in the earth will depend upon how much our mind is renewed to His Word. Our will should always be dedicated to God’s will.

*GENISIS 18:19 - For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment, that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Abraham’s part was keeping the way of the Lord so God could bring to pass the words of his will. That’s our part. We must walk in his way and his will so he can bring his word to come to pass.

*ROMANS 8:29 - For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

We are predestinated to be conformed to his image. This is God’s will for us. This is something we do and grow into. We have to be diligent to the things of the Lord-dedicated. Dedicated with what we have (using our tools to the fullest extent to please the Father).

*EPHESIANS 5:25 - Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

God had in mind the church be set apart from the world, a church full of his glory. A glorious church, a holy church, without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. That’s what God wants us to come to. So the world will see a church without spot or wrinkle. A holy church.

*JOHN 17:17-20 - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word.

We are to be without spot or blemish in the earth, sanctified (or set apart) by the truth of the word of God.

*COLOSSIANS 1:9,10 - For this cause we also, since the day we heard it do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

When we are filled with the knowledge of God we can walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing knowing his will and his wisdom being in us. Walking worthy of the Lord and pleasing him is connected with bearing fruit. The power will be there to bear the fruit.

*Pleasing God——*Bearing Fruit——*Power
(All connected together.)

When we please God, we bear fruit. If we are not bearing fruit in our ministry we’ve not been pleasing God with what we’ve been doing with our time and attention.

*EPHESIANS 4:11-13 - And he gave some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ; Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

Saints are to be brought to maturity. We must determine in our hearts not to just get by and have our needs met, but to help the other guy get his needs met.

We must determine to please God and not ourselves to keep the power of God flowing and unhindered in our lives. Not just getting by but growing up into him so the power of God will be manifested through us to others. Changing lives, ministering deliverance, instant healings, miracles, signs, and wonders-this is what God intends for his sons and daughters to be doing in the earth. Showing forth Jesus until he comes and being about the Father’s business. God’s will for his body is to come into perfect unity unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. We all need to put ourselves under ministers we know are accurately and rightly dividing the word of truth. It will either influence us for good or bad. Whenever we receive from men and women of God, our spirits are open to them.

We are not to walk like unborn again people (the world) walk, in the uselessness of their mind. Their understanding is darkened. We haven’t learned to walk in the vanity of our minds in Christ Jesus. WE have learned to PUT OFF the old man. This is something WE CHOSE TO DO. WE have to renew our minds to the word of God.

*Righteousness happened when we were born again. We are in right standing with God.

*Holiness is there but WE HAVE TO DO THIS AS A DECISION OF OUR WILL. It’s the will of God that we be renewed in the spirit of our mind. Holiness is what WE DO with our time, what we do in our actions, how we conduct ourselves, even in our conversation. It’s not what we are made to do but what we chose to do. Living set apart unto God will bring us victory right here and now. If we just walk in love with everyone, we will be pleasing God. AMEN.

Azusa was one continual meeting. They sold out to what they were doing. They became known as holiness people. How did they get that title? They separated themselves from the world. They let go of things they thought were not pleasing to God. They put off the former conversation of the world (the old man) and put on the things pleasing to God (the new man.) There is a difference between being dedicated to God and doing these things because we want to than just following a set of rules and regulations (legalism.) It’s all about our heart attitude towards God and what he wants instead of what we want all the time. The only way to find out what God wants for our life is to stay in the word (meditate.) He knows we can’t act beyond our knowledge of his word.

*Romans 12:1,2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

When we make Jesus the Lord of our lives, our spirits are born again in the likeness of Jesus. Our souls, which consist of our mind, will, and emotions, need to be retrained. As we renew our minds to the word of God, we are training it in the things of the spirit. Holiness is when we conform our actions to the image of God that is in our spirit. When we give our attention to the things of the spirit, we will tap into the power of God that is in us. By letting go of the things of this world and seeking after the things of God, by living a holy life, set apart unto God, we will cause that power to flow through us as we go about doing the Father’s business, living out the plan that he has for each and every one of us in the earth. May you continue to know the truth because it’s the truth you know that will set you free. AMEN.

God has a plan for YOU!

We are all called by God, maybe not to pastor a church, but to a place of helps, leadership, or to be a prayer warrior – “a place where we can influence others.”

To find this place, we must study or research God’s word, pray and listen. When we hear God’s Word, don’t question Him, just do the Word! Sometimes we wonder if it’s God or ourselves that we hear, but by studying God’s Word, we will know. When we get into that place God has called us to, He will overwhelm us with blessings.

In the beginning, God made us in His image, and said for us to have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, over every living thing upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26-28). The first words God spoke to man were blessings. He told Adam and Eve to multiply, subdue the earth, and He gave them authority to carry this out. Adam’s place was to carry out God’s authority on the earth, speak with authority and power, and expand the Garden of Eden to the rest of the earth. When Adam and Eve failed God, He found another way to get His blessings to man. He called on Abraham, who was willing to obey Him, and He made a covenant with Him. God blessed Abraham, his sons, grandson and the rest of the earth.

Everywhere Abraham went, God increased him in his cattle, sheep, lands, and at the age of 100, God gave him a son. The blessings didn’t stop with Abraham; they continued with his descendants because God established His covenant to Abraham and generations to come as an everlasting covenant to his seed after him. As believers, this covenant is ours also because we’re the seed of Abraham in Christ. Galatians 3:29 says, “As if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.” We are heirs to the promise because we believe. To believe is to overcome! We overcome sickness, oppression, or lack when we really believe. We must believe God’s promises are for us. Every promise is for us, now!

When we are getting close to a kingdom victory, Satan will throw a storm at us. We must decide that Satan is not going to steal our victory. For us to not believe God’s promises is the same as not believing that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again on the third day for our sin. Jesus said in Mark 5:36, “Do not be afraid, only believe.” We must believe, since to question is to doubt.

Psalm 37:23 tells us that “the steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord.” In the natural we want to know every step God has for us before we take the first step that He’s given us to do. God will not show us our whole future ahead of time; we must take steps of faith. As we take these steps of faith, Satan will still try to keep us in oppression, lack or sickness. Stand up to Satan; he is under your feet. Do only what God says do. God’s vision for us is larger than we can ever imagine. As we do what God tells us to do, the blessings of God will overtake us.

Quit asking God to help you, or why He’s not helping you, and start obeying Him. Do what He’s told you to do. He created you for a specific purpose on this earth. When you walk in that purpose, you will walk in the blessings and God will overwhelm you, lavish you, with overflow. God tells us that we are promised all these blessings through obedience. By being obedient, God will work out any problem we have and set us on high.

Abraham was obedient to God as was Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. They were faithful to God and did what He asked them to do. Psalm 39:1 says “God is faithful to all generations.” And 2 Timothy 2:13 tells us “His faithfulness will cause us to come out of doubt.”

In Deuteronomy 28, we find the promises and blessings for obedience. We are told to observe all of God’s commandments carefully. If we do, He will set us on high above all the nations of the earth. All of these blessings will come upon us and overtake us. We shall be blessed in the city and in the country. The fruit of our bodies shall increase; our herds or cattle shall increase. Herds and cattle are your businesses. Your basket and kneading bowl shall be blessed, these are your bank accounts. Your enemies — lack, depression, poverty, sickness — will be defeated and shall flee before you seven ways. The Lord will grant you plenty of goods, toys (men and boy toys), business, land, rain, and bless all the work of your hands. You shall lend to may nations, but you shall not borrow. God will make you the head and not the tail. God has already blessed us in every area of our lives; we must receive these blessings and quit walking around like we are defeated.

When we get into God’s plan for our lives, everything works differently. We walk with God’s power in our lives, we walk in victory. After we receive the Holy Spirit, we can stand any difficulty, walk right through it. We walk with a boldness about us that we know our God is with us, in us and about us. God made us to be a son with the potential to bring everything into subjection to us.

When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we become bold as a lion to withstand any test. We must have the attitude that there is no such thing as defeat, and we will not quit. It’s our place to walk with dominion, and rule and reign on this earth in our called place, our place of authority. Get into your called place today so you can enjoy living the victorious life God has planned for you!

Praise the Lord!! You are in the right place for a miracle today. “If you will only believe in the miracle working power of God you will see His glory!” (John 11:40) You are God’s favorite daughter (son) and he wants to deliver you from the spirit of depression right now! Although you may not realize or believe this, He loves you so much (right where you are, with no condemnation. I’m going to share some things with you that I believe will help you and that you may not have heard before, but it’s real.

Are you or someone you love in the depths of depression, addiction to meds, wanting deliverance, and lacking faith in God, or maybe they, or you, just have a mustard seed amount of faith? Honey, I’m here to tell you that the mustard seed faith you have is all you need to move the mountain of addiction and depression in your life! The word says that’s all you need! “Because you’re not yet taking God seriously, said Jesus; “The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, Move! and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn’t be able to tackle. Matthew 17:20, Message. “Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.” Mark 11:23 - Amp

Let’s start right where you are, and see God meet you there and bring you deliverance! Let’s get some Word for your situation because everything else is just a band aid for the real problem. Read and meditate on the “faith” and “healing” scriptures to build your faith for healing until you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God heals all the time, every time no matter what the natural looks life. Everyone that came to Jesus for healing in the New Testament was healed. You are no different from blind Bartimaus calling out to Jesus for his sight to be restored. Jesus asked him what he wanted, and then He gave it to him.

The reason you have to know that Jesus heals all the time, every time and that He will do it for you is because the devil doesn’t want you to be free. He wants you to be bound up with fear, addition, pain, and ultimately defeated, just the opposite of what Jesus wants for you. You have got to believe before you speak, “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore speak.” 2 Corinthians 4:13. I don’t think you feel very victorious right now, but the good news is that that is going to change today!

So, let’s get to the root of the problem (mountain) and put the Word on it so it has to go from your life. Would you like that? You may need to build your faith in this area as I mentioned above, before you speak to depression (your mountain) and tell it to go; however, realize that your words have power, just like God’s words when he spoke the world into existence, and it still stands. He gave it to Adam and told him to take dominion and rule and reign in it. “Behold I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” Luke 10:19 - Amp

When Adam sinned he lost that power for mankind, but in God’s goodness He sent his son, Jesus, who took it back from the devil and then gave that power to us so we can take dominion and rule and reign in our world. We are the one in authority in our life, not the devil. Satan is defeated because Jesus went into hell and took the keys to death, hell and the grave and then gave us the keys. “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:19 - Amp

Depression is real. It is a tool of the enemy to defeat you in your daily life. John 10:10 says that “the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy, but that Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly.” When we are in depression we don’t have abundant life, do we? So let’s get free from depression. It is very simple, just like being born again, confession unto salvation. Have you confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? (If not, take a minute and pray the following prayer: “Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, “And whoever calls out for help to me, God, will be saved.” Acts 2:21 (Message). I’m calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart. Be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” I do that now. I confess Jesus is Lord. I believe in my heart God raised him from the dead. I am now born again! I am a Christian - Almighty God’s child! Your Word also says, “As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing - you’re at least decent to your own children. And don’t you think the Father who conceived you in love will give the Holy Spirit when you ask him?” Luke 11:13 (Message) I’m asking You to fill me with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, rise up within me as I praise God. I expect to speak with other tongues as You give me utterance. “Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks, and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them.” Acts 2:4 (Message) Worship and praise God now as you are filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in your heavenly language - other tongues. Now believe that He redeemed you from hell and you are now going to spend eternity with Him in heaven. Amen!

We are now going to confess healing, believe that when you say the following you will have the same results as you did when you confessed Jesus as Lord of your life.

Father God, it’s in the authority of the name of Jesus that I curse the spirit of depression and tell it go from my life and never return. Devil, I’m speaking to you right now in the authority of the name of Jesus, I bind the spirit of depression that you sent into my life and I loose it from its assignment against me and tell you to go now in Jesus name and never return to me or my children, or my children’s children. I break this curse in my family forever by the Blood of Jesus. God, I thank you that according to 2 Timothy 1:7, “You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” I thank you now for my deliverance in Jesus name. Amen.

It’s that simple. You have just been delivered!! Hallelujah!!! Praise the Lord!!! You may not feel any different, but we don’t go by how we feel. We go by what the Word says. The devil would try to come back and tell you that what you said didn’t work, you really don’t believe that it that’s simple, and the lies go on and on. BUT, remember the verses I shared with you! Either the Word works or it doesn’t! I know it works and I believe you do, too!! Put in some praise and worship music and rejoice in what Jesus has just done for you. He’s such a good God and He loves you so much.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life today and share God’s delivering power with you. I believe this has helped you or will help your loved one because I simply brought you the Word of God, the Good News, and I want to rejoice with you that Jesus has changed your life forever, for the better!

Remember to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, and you have the VICTORY today!!

God Bless you.
Lucia

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

By Danny Claborn

Hebrews 11:1 says “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” The first word of verse 1 is Now. Our faith must be now!!!! If our faith for whatever we need is not now, it must be doubt.

Faith is confidence in someone or something. We put our faith in the banking system that our money is safe with them. Our money system would not be accepted without our faith in it. We put our faith in things that we cannot see. If we can see it with our eyes, it is fact and not faith.

In the Greek, the word for faith is (pistis), a noun. The verb is (pisteuo) to believe. Romans 10:17 says “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” We must hear the word of God to have faith in God. We must believe that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Cor 15:34.

Acts 16:31 says “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved.” Simple believing is hard for most people. For many people, it would be easier if we had to do something or pay for our salvation. But God doesn’t want human sacrifices; salvation is a free gift given by His grace and received through faith.

We must believe that God’s Word is true and decide to accept Him as our Savior. Our first faith in God should start with believing that Jesus did die for our sins, was buried and on the third day, rose again. We must confess with our mouths this belief. Romans 10:9 says “If we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” This is the most important step in your spiritual life.

Second, we must use our faith to defeat Satan. We must study God’s word in order to increase our faith.

Hebrews 11: 6 says “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Once we confess our sins and believe that Jesus died for us: we die to our old man of sin and become alive to God. (Romans 6:7-8) We can now use our faith, or our hope, as a confident expectation. Maybe you have been sick, oppressed, or in lack; now, we must have a confident expectation that we have overcome these obstacles.

We must begin to meditate on scriptures until we raise our image to being healed, being happy and joyful or being prosperous and out of debt.

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1-2

As we use our faith, the confident expectation, we are saved and we overcome Satan. We see the glory of God manifested in our lives. No more sickness, no more oppression, no more lack. Expect to see the glory–meditate on the glory. This is the way God intended for us to live on earth. By using your faith and having the expectancy of the glory of God in you; you can now face anything Satan throws at you and laugh when you use your faith, anchored in your hope. So, start expecting now!
