Confession

Faith isn’t faith until you open your mouth and speak it! Faith is mental assent, however, mental assent become faith by action, or confession. Real faith is a living, moving force. Confession is faith’s confirmation. When you constantly affirm the things that God is to you and who you are in God, and the things you are in Jesus Christ and what Jesus is in you, you are giving faith wings to reach a higher altitude in the spirit realm.

Faith confessions are as much a part of victory as is the Blood of the Lamb! The Bible says “we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony” in Revelations 12:11. God doesn’t accept faith unless it is confessed. When you stop your faith confessions, faith stops growing and acting on God’s promises becomes more difficult.

When you exercise your faith, it is a creative force that only expresses itself through confession. Just as God said, “Let there be light, and there was light,” you can use your faith-filled words as a creative force to design your future of your choice.

The creative ability that was in Jesus is God’s nature as well. Since you have God’s nature on the inside of you, you are a partaker of the divine nature of God (2 Peter 1:4); therefore, that same creative power is on the inside of you! However, it must be manifested through your confessions.

You can dominate your future just as Jesus dominated the laws of nature by His faith-filled words. A great example of Jesus using his faith is when he called Lazarus forth from the grave in John 11:43, and Lazarus obeyed the words.

You have a choice to either speak creative faith-filled or doubt-filled words to design your future. I encourage you to take your place of authority and fearlessly face your enemy to speak to him in the Name of Jesus. He can’t stand before you and angels are standing ready to go to work on your behalf. As you speak the living Word of God through faith, you will realize you are more than a conqueror!

In Christ

Joseph Prince has become one of my favorite?authors so I want to share one of his recent devotions with you as it blessed my heart…

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”?John 15:5

In this verse, Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches.” He did not say, “I am the vine, try to be the branches.”  In other words, He wants us to realize that we are already the branches.  We do not have to struggle to become the branches.

As His branches, we only have to abide or remain in Christ our vine.  How do we do that?  We do that by simply being conscious every day of our position in Christ. Because we have received Christ, we are in Christ and are accepted in the Beloved. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 1:6)  God accepts us because we are in the Beloved and He is in us.  And that is how God sees us today when we come into His presence.

What the devil wants to do then is to get you to focus on your condition instead of your position in Christ.  The condition you are facing could be financial lack or deteriorating health.  The devil wants you to focus on your condition and forget your position — that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and that you are seated with Him in heavenly places at the Father’s right hand.  (2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:6)  He wants you to forget that you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. (Romans 8:17)

The devil knows that once you focus on your position in Christ, it will give you the power to change your condition and circumstances.  John 15:5 says that you will bear much fruit.  This means that when you pray against any lack, abundant supply will flow.  When you pray for healing, sickness will leave.

My friend, none of these things can happen by your own doing, but by His life which flows through you.  Just as sap flowing through the branches of a vine will cause them to bring forth fruit, His life flowing through you will bring forth a bountiful harvest of prosperity, healing and miracles.  You only need to remain conscious of who you are in Christ!

Finding the Right Answers

Are you looking for answers to your problems and challenges? If you’re like me, you want real answers to real problems.  I have found that God has given us a guaranteed way to receive the answers to those problems and challenges. It is His Word. Every answer or solution you need is found in the Bible; God’s personal love letter to us.

Yet, many Christians aren’t walking victoriously in certain areas of their lives, because the devil continuously wages a war of distraction against them. He has managed to take them away from the one thing that can bring them victory — the Word of God. He will do everything possible to prevent them from opening the Bible because he knows that the Word will deliver them.

The distractions can be very subtle: Too many to-do’s on your daily task list, TV programs that distract you and hold your interest for endless hours, or it may take the form of a big problem that makes you feel you need to focus all your attention on it instead of the Word. The enemy knows that if he can get you to take your eyes off the Word of God, he can keep you from winning the battle.

When you’re going through a tough time, it isn’t just enough to know that God’s answer to your problem is “somewhere in the Bible”, you need to know where it is. Look in a Bible concordance and then find that scripture that God has promised the solution. Meditate on it until the truth of that scripture is revealed to you. The revelation will go from head knowledge to heart revelation. When you make that revelation your own, the devil can’t stop God’s Word from producing fruit in your life.

Even Jesus Himself used the Word to defeat the devil in the wilderness – “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4) So, the way to defeat the enemy is with “It is written…”

There is no substitute for the written Word of God.  God tells us that we will find life and health if we give our attention to His word and keep it in the midst of our hearts. The key is to dig into his Word and let God’s promises abide in your heart.

Exercise Your Authority

After God created the earth and everything in it, He said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule….” – Genesis 6:26

God created us to rule and have dominion from a place of rest; a place of finished work.  He created us to walk in His power and His authority; and He wants us to take our authoritative position.
Although Adam surrendered his God-given power and authority to Satan, Jesus paid the price with His Blood, went into hell and took back the keys (which represent power and authority) from Satan – stripping him of all his power – and gave those keys to us.  Before Jesus left hell, He made a show of Satan’s defeat openly.
Jesus rose on the third day, later ascended to heaven, and then sat down at the right hand of Father God.  He sat down because His job was finished.  God made a footstool for Jesus’ feet of His enemies. (Psalm 110:1)
In turn, Jesus gave that same power and authority to us when we were born again.  “Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” (Luke 10:19 Amplified)
So, when Satan wreaks havoc in your life through sickness, disease, financial stress, relationship challenges, etc., (John 10:10) pull out your keys and exercise your God-given power and authority that Jesus has already paid the price for you so you can be free.
I’ve decided that I’m not putting up with anything in my life that Jesus has paid such a high price with His Blood so I can be free from it.
Now’s the time for you to exercise your God-given authority so you can rule, reign, and dominate your world.  Just as God made Jesus’ enemies his footstool, which means Jesus is over, or above, his enemies; we are also over our enemies because we are made in His image.
Exercise your faith and enter into that place of rest, knowing that the finished work of Jesus’ shed Blood was enough to pay the price for you to have victory over the enemy.
