Decrees for Children
God is the strength of my life. I can do anything with Jesus in me.
Light, space, zest— that’s God! So, with him on my side I’m fearless, afraid of no one and nothing. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. (Psalm 27:1, Philippians 4:13)
I love others because You first loved me.
Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love.

Jesus is my light. I will let my light shine all the time so everyone can see Jesus in me.
What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

Your Word is in my heart and protects me when I’m asleep or awake. Thank You, Father, for always being with me.
Mark well that God doesn’t miss a move you make; he’s aware of every step you take. The shadow of your sin will overtake you; you’ll find yourself stumbling all over yourself in the dark.

Thank You, Father, that Your angels watch over me. Any weapon that is aimed at me will be turned away.
“But no weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar. This is what God’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.” God’s Decree. He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go. If you stumble, they’ll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling. You’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

No one can take my joy from me, for Jesus is my joy and His joy makes me strong.

The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. And it’s as good as done. That’s why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything.

So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way.

The sword of the spirit is the Word of God. When I say what God says it brings me life and makes me strong.
Break open your words, let the light shine out, let ordinary people see the meaning. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon.

Thank You for forgiving me of everything bad I’ve ever done and for taking sickness away from my life so I can be well and praise You.
